OUR BRAND WAS DATED.
But our ideas were innovative and forward-thinking. Bit of a disconnect there. After much pleading and a verbal agreement over copious amounts of alcohol, the rebrand was green-lit.
We started with a simple company-wide announcement. Because people get jazzed over kinetic type. Then threw our labors of love into an employee brand book, swag included but not limited to face tats, a beast of a new website, and tons of other important things. The tone of voice was left up to moi, with the simple direction of being “humans talking to humans, with the teeniest tinge of self deprecation.” Roger that.
